March Monthly Article

The sun is on the horizon and it’s time to get yourself fashion ready. This seasons trends are looking to imitate the 90’s with big statement earrings, chokers, and high collared/mock turtle neck tops.
The waist line on your bottoms is even moving up, that includes your swim bottoms as well. With the high waisted bottoms, mid-rifs are popping out. Be careful not to overdo it. If you’re looking to show off a little skin it needs to be the 2″ space between your belly button and your rib cage.
A lot of the tops are displaying laced up necklines giving a slight nautical feel. Swim tops are getting in on the action as well. Just remember to wear your sunscreen so you are not left with funky tan lines.
If dresses are your thing, go with denim or a stripped T-shirt dress. They are sure to be fashionable and comfortable.
Speaking of denim, it’s big this season with skirts, jackets, shirts, and jeans. One of the flash back trends you see with it is patches. Yup, patches of all sorts, rainbows, military, sunshine, and much more.
Shorts have gotten much longer. Bermuda length is pushing those daisy dukes right out of the lime light.
A must get this season is a pair of very flat, strappy, boho sandals that go with almost any outfit. Then top it off with a bucket style purse.
If you want to keep it simple grab a pair of white denim skinny jeans, top it off with a tank and light cardigan. You can pair your boho flats with it or your favorite Converse sneakers.
Makeup looks are simple as well. Natural and dewy, with nude cheeks, naturally thick brows, and lush lashes. Although evening makeup is similar you just need to add a big splash of glitter on the eyes or lips.
Summed up this season’s trend is simplistic, so take it easy and don’t overdo it.
